About Dr. Juliana Ada-Nnenna Nwakamma

Dr. Juliana Ada-Nnenna Nwakamma is a poet, nurse-scholar, and healer whose words are shaped by compassion, lived experience, and purpose. She holds a Doctorate degree in Nursing and is the Founder and Clinical Director of Prosper Health and Behavioral Care Services, a private psychiatric practice where she provides holistic mental and physical health care.

Her work as a mental health clinician profoundly informs her poetry. Through both practice and verse, Dr. Nwakamma listens to voices often unheard, walks gently with pain, and supports individuals through the journey of healing and restoration. She integrates counseling, emotional support, and whole-person care addressing the mind, body, and spirit as one.

Her poetry explores resilience, identity, motherhood, silence, faith, and renewal. Each poem serves as a space where emotion finds language and healing begins. As both a caregiver and a writer, she believes healing is not only clinical, but also creative.

Dr. Juliana Ada-Nnenna Nwakamma writes to heal, to witness, and to leave a legacy of wholeness.
